Pick your date, choose your headset quantity, duration, delivery and iPod options. Your price updates live. Pay a $150 deposit to lock it in — done in two minutes.

Collect or Receive Delivery

Pick up free from Point Lonsdale, or receive delivery anywhere in the Geelong and Bellarine region for a flat $40. Every headset arrives pre-charged and tested.

Connect, Play, Dance

Plug your device into a transmitter, press play, hand out the headsets. Most setups take under ten minutes. The rest of the night takes care of itself.

One Room. Three Dance Floors.

Born in the Greek Islands

Years before Shush existed, our founder Todd was running a silent disco club on the Greek Islands. Night after night, he watched strangers become friends and quiet venues transform into something electric — all without a single speaker disturbing the surrounding streets.

What struck Todd most was how the experience united people. Three different channels meant three different worlds, yet everyone was dancing together under the same stars.

When Todd returned to Geelong, he brought that vision home. Shush was built on one idea: the atmosphere he created in the Greek Islands should be available to anyone on the Bellarine Peninsula.

Transmitters broadcast music wirelessly across three channels. Guests pick up a headset, choose their channel using the button on the ear cup, and the music plays directly to them. From outside the headsets, the room is nearly silent — creating a uniquely entertaining spectacle.
When a guest selects a channel, the LED illuminates — red for channel one, green for channel two, blue for channel three. Every guest on the same channel hears the same song at the same moment. You can see at a glance which music is winning the room.
Yes. Our transmitters broadcast through interior walls, floors and ceilings with a range of up to 500 metres. Guests move freely throughout your home, backyard and surrounding areas without losing signal.
By default, yes — connect your own phone, laptop or tablet to the transmitter via the included cable. Alternatively, add our music iPods as an optional extra. We offer one, two or three iPods pre-loaded with curated playlists.
Yes — the headsets are fully wireless and battery-powered, ideal for outdoor events, beach gatherings, winery lawns and park events. Transmitters require a standard power point or portable battery pack.
When you select a date in the calculator, we check live availability across all confirmed bookings. If headsets are already committed on that date, the quantity selector automatically adjusts to show what is still available. Dates where all 400 headsets are booked are shown as unavailable.
For peak summer weekends and school event season, book as early as possible — these dates fill quickly. For off-peak periods, two to four weeks is generally sufficient. A $150 deposit confirms your booking immediately.
A refundable bond of $300 applies to all bookings. If a headset is lost or damaged beyond normal wear, a charge of $100 per unit applies and is deducted from the bond. Remaining bond is returned within three business days.
Every Shush hire includes: your headsets pre-charged and tested, three channel transmitters, all cables and adapters (Lightning and USB-C), step-by-step setup guide, transport tubs, and direct support from Todd throughout your event.
Yes. Shush Party Hire holds current public liability insurance. A certificate of currency is available on request for venue coordinators who require it.
Cancellations seven or more days before your event receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations within seven days forfeit the deposit. Please contact us as early as possible — we will always do our best to work with you on rescheduling.
All of greater Geelong, the entire Bellarine Peninsula including Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads, Queenscliff, Point Lonsdale, Portarlington, St Leonards, Drysdale and surrounds, plus the Surf Coast including Torquay and Anglesea. Outside these areas, get in touch and we will discuss options.
